With the unfortunate departure of G.M.A.C. Ford Credit Suncorp and GE Money from financing cars, a lot of people have been left high and dry with cars that must be refinanced.

“As theses companies are pulling out of Australia completely, they are trying to recoup as much of the monies owing on these vehicles as possible”. A spokesman for Quality Auto Search said today. “A lot of their customers who have large payouts or balloons on their vehicles have been asked to refinance their cars offering the attractive incentive of not having to pay any early payout penalties to do so. Many are worried they may not be able to find a finance company to take it over or will end up doing so with exorbitant rates”.

When it comes to finance, car buyers need to shop around now more than ever before. There are still good quality finance companies that offer motor vehicle finance at competitive rates.
